Our science
We built the formula for the heavy days.
Most hair gummies treat the symptom (a thin ponytail). Ruubyn® was built around what your body leans on during heavy seasons — calming adaptogens plus honest-dose hair nutrients. Here's the thinking behind every milligram.

Three pillars
How does stress affect the hair cycle?
Hair shedding from stress is well-documented in dermatology as telogen effluvium. The science is settled enough to inform a formula, even when the conversation around supplements isn't.
-
01
Stress disrupts the hair cycle
Sustained cortisol elevation pushes hair follicles prematurely from their growing phase (anagen) into shedding (telogen). The result shows up 2–3 months after the stressful event — not during it. That delay is why so many women feel blindsided.

02
Adaptogens support the response
Standardized ashwagandha extract has one of the largest bodies of evidence for supporting healthy cortisol levels during occasional stress. L-theanine adds calm focus without sedation. Apigenin and lemon balm, two gentle calming botanicals, support a settled evening. Magnesium glycinate completes the wind-down.

03
Hair structure needs nutrients too
Zinc, biotin (moderate dose), bamboo silica, vitamin B6 and folate (active forms) support keratin production, follicle function, and structural integrity. We deliberately kept biotin at an honest 300 mcg — far below the mega-doses linked to breakouts and lab-test interference.

Honest claims
Every line of copy passes a compliance review.
Supplement marketing is full of dramatic promises. Ruubyn® refuses to play that game — and the FDA + FTC are increasingly punishing brands that do.
What we say
- Supports the body's healthy stress response.
- Supports normal hair follicle function.
- Supports calm focus and a relaxed evening.
- Supports keratin production and hair strength.
- Supports nervous-system relaxation.
What we don't say
- Treats hair loss.
- Cures anxiety or depression.
- Replaces medical diagnosis or treatment.
- Reverses androgenic alopecia (genetic balding).
- Works the same for everyone, every time.
The FDA does not evaluate dietary supplements before they go to market. Honest expectations are the only durable currency in this category.
